Aufgaben

We are looking for a result oriented and dynamic member for the team of "Support and Cross Functions Germany" in the role of Application manager of BI solutions in Düsseldorf. The role represents responsibility for three different topics, primarily responsibility for the Tagetik Analytics solution and HR BI reporting solution based on SAP BI (currently 7.5.), secondary a commercial responsibility for Document Archiving solution (OpenText SaaS).

  • Application lifecycle management of the solutions
  • Managing international teams consisting of variety of members - OnShore (GER - Int, Ext), Nearshore (e.g. UK, Poland) and Offshore (India)
  • Capacity planning in the teams
  • Collaboration on financial planning - Midterm planning as well as One-year planning (Forecasts)
  • Stakeholder management, creating positive and efficient relationships with the Key users community as well as IT-internal counterparts (Uniper colleagues, external partners)
  • Delivery of documentation in the area of IT Internal Controls (i.e. Audit)
  • Active and regular update of "Business applications" in the Enterprise architecture management system (ServiceNow), representing the solutions in the areas of responsibility.
  • Support or lead in diverse improvement initiatives in the Uniper
  • Regular status update within the team and to the stakeholders
  • Collaboration with diverse governance units - License management, Security, Enterprise architects, Access control team etc.
  • Use of diverse collaboration tools and platforms, such as MS Teams, Azure DevOps
  • Active collaboration and contribution to defining the Uniper´s future strategy in area of BI and Analytics
  • Management of standard and mid-size Change Requests, collaboration with projects.
  • Responsibility for service enabling (service transition) of new functionalities and solutions
  • Managing solutions in cloud (MS Azure)

Profil
  • Ability to communicate in English and German, in word and letter
  • Min 2-years of hands-on experience with SAP BI
  • Min 2-years of experience with SAP ERP solutions
  • Min 2-years of experience with Data analytics tools (SAP or non-SAP)
  • Understanding of Application Management processes
  • Ability to functionally lead a diverse international team(s)
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust to changing environment (new technologies, new interfaces)
  • Knowledge of ITIL (V3 or higher)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban etc.)
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Ability to moderate meetings with smaller or larger audience
  • Ability to travel (occasional 2-3 days business trips)
  • Ability to work independently (e.g. Home Office)
  • Advantage: Knowledge of HR processes (mainly in GER) and HR BI reporting
