Coloplast Distribution GmbH acts as the umbrella organization for the European logistics of Coloplast A/S, a Danish manufacturer of medical products with over 12,000 employees worldwide.

Coloplast develops and distributes products for ostomy, continence and wound care, skin care and urology. In addition, Coloplast offers homecare services in Germany.

We are searching for an experienced Project Manager Logistics Systems, to support develo­ping, implemen­ting, and impro­ving our logistics IT systems. This position is part of the global Transport team, based in our Distri­bution Centre in Hamburg-Allermöhe, repor­ting directly to the Head of Transport.

You have a strong affinity for IT systems and have expe­rience with global pro­jects in the context of logistics? Then this posi­tion might be for you.

• Support implementation and roll-out of a glo­bal Transport Manage­ment System (TMS) and connec­ted Ware­house Management System (WMS) appli­cations
• Develop an improve­ment plan for the implemen­tation with action items, timelines, res­ponsi­bilities etc.
• Leadership throughout all pro­ject stages (func­tional speci­fications, IT design, pro­gramming, testing and implemen­tation)
• Internal and external point of contact for pro­cess and tech­nical matters
• Manage development and exe­cution of busi­ness tran­sition management activities
• Create, review and prio­ritize the setting of system require­ments
• Work closely with respec­tive business units to imple­ment an action plan
• Measure and review success factors and KPIs within pro­jects and follow up on them
• Maintain configura­tion on produc­tion and test systems
• Implementation of new pro­cesses and func­tions with trainings or FAQs and manuals
• Support the owner of appli­cations during initial setup

• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree or equivalent experience in an rela­ted field (Business Manage­ment, Supply Chain, Infor­mation Systems)
• A few years of project management of complex system implemen­tations with logistics, supply chain or distribution highly pre­ferred
• Interest in working with transpor­tation and ware­housing appli­cations
• Strong IT affinity
• Profound analytical skills and MS Excel com­petence
• Ability to work in a team
• Excellent communication skills in Eng­lish across all levels of the organi­zation (German and other languages are beneficial)
