Your Team

In our Editorial Research Intelligence Department, approximately 300 researchers work on the statistics and topic pages for our different national platforms. Each day, while focusing on their specific fields, our experts research and prepare new data from the world's most significant sources for our platforms: https://www.statista.com/.


Aufgaben
  • Support in the automation of internal data processing steps with Python (and/or R)
  • Develop, maintain, and improve ETL processes
  • Identifying optimization and automation potentials within Statista's content management processes
  • Structure and verify data quality
  • Build data-based tools and solutions to improve efficiency in Statista's content management processes
  • Conception and implementation of solutions for the processing of structured and unstructured data from a variety of sources in Python (and/or R)

Profil
  • Successfully completed studies in the fields of data science, computer science, economics and social sciences with quantitative focus or a comparable field
  • Professional experience in data engineering and/or process automation is a plus
  • Profound knowledge of Python (and/or R)
  • Experience in Docker, Airflow or the AWS ecosystem is a plus
  • Interested in developments of the current LLM landscape
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Basic understanding of version control and collaboration in Github
  • Ability to describe complicated issues concisely and understandably for different stakeholders
  • Structured, organized, and independent working style with an emphasis on quality, detail, and accuracy
  • High-quality standards for your own work
