As a Senior Data Engineer Advanced Analytics & AI (f/m/x), the following exciting tasks await you:

• Independent implementation of digitalization projects in the areas of Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence
• Identification, analysis, and evaluation of top-down/bottom-up process optimization potentials through qualitative and quantitative analyses
• Requirements engineering and rapid prototyping (Power BI/Python stack in Azure environment)
• Drafting, design and development of sophisticated, modern and sustainable IT infrastructures and their seamless integration into the existing system landscape
• Responsibility for the identification and exploration of data sources as well as the design of strategic, cross-functional data models for use in multiple analytics projects and integration into a cross-project data layer
• Co- design of strategic, cross-functional data models
• Proficient application of agile software development methods and collaboration with international teams and the selection and collaboration with external development partners
• Ensuring compliance with all corporate security standards and the implementation of security policies and protocols to guarantee data integrity and privacy
• Application of digital methods such as Design Thinking or Scrum
• Sharing expertise with other team members and training users to ensure effective utilization of the developed tools and systems

Profil

Qualifications - Ideally, you bring the following:

• Completed degree in a natural sciences, mathematics, or business-related field
• 2-5 years of professional experience in process analysis and optimization or software development in a dynamic-analytical work environment (e.g., in the automotive industry, software or startup sector, management consulting, or similar manufacturing sectors) and in the implementation of digitalization projects
• Several years of experience in building and operating complex IT and cloud architecture as well as CI/CD
• Excellent knowledge of Azure services (e.g. ADF, Databricks, EventHub, ADLS, Monitoring, PowerBI Server, Azure SQL, Synapse, ...), as well as deep understanding of API design and microservices
• Proficiency with technologies like Databricks, Azure Data Explorer, ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.) and visualization software (e.g., Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI)
• Extensive experience in the application of statistics, artificial intelligence methods, unsupervised and supervised learning, reinforcement learning, deep learning, and data modeling, data scrubbing, data cleaning, data lakes
• Outstanding programming language skills in relevant data science languages (Python, R) on large data processing frameworks (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Fabrics, Databricks, etc.)
• Knowledge and solid experience in planning and managing complex IT projects as well as familiarity with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Strong strategic, conceptual, methodological, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira)
