Aufgaben
  • In your position as Commissioning Manager (m/f/d) you will lead the setting-to-work (STW) activities and port tests depending on the schedule. You will be responsible for the weekly determination of the actual status, weekly planning and weekly forecast.
  • You will compare the planned work performances to the actual work performances for commissioning including the identification of risks for deadlines, costs and quality.
  • You will also support the further development, recording and presentation of the STW and testing plan led by the sub-project management.
  • You will be responsible for supervising the planning and control of subcontractor services, for managing the testing and delivery of the propulsion system and coordinate the work with the respective responsible site engineers and schedulers.
  • Your tasks will also include document management, including the preparation of delivery documentation, the preparation of test drives and the preparation and execution of inspections.

Profil
  • You have successfully completed your studies in the field of shipbuilding, mechanical engineering or plant engineering or have a comparable education.
  • You have knowledge and experience with regard to design and production processes in shipbuilding and have several years of professional experience in the shipyard environment, ideally in the field of naval surface vessels.
  • You are characterized by a high level of quality awareness, a routine approach to standards and a high degree of assertiveness.
  • You have an affinity for the analysis of process flows and their mapping for documentation and convince your colleagues and other employees with strong communication skills.
  • A structured way of working, the routine handling of the common MS-Office products as well as a confident command of written and spoken English are prerequisites for this position.
  • You have the desire to work abroad.
