Aufgaben

Role Summary

The Operational Technology Group Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, providing leadership and guidance in the design and implementation of the shop floor (OT) systems and infrastructure to ensure that OT systems meets the existing and future requirements of Magna Seating, its divisions, Magna Corporate, and its customers.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Transparency

  • Evaluate reporting requirements of the regional Group and its Divisions
  • Direct communication and reporting
  • Partners with various stakeholders to ensure OT objectives meet or exceed Magna standards

OT Management Framework

  • Define OT Policies, Standards, Procedures, and instructions in conjunction with Magna Corporate Policies and Standards
  • Monitoring, recommending and supporting the divisional OT teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvements with regards to OT related gardware, software and processes
  • Maintain compliance by the regional Group and its Divisions with OT policies and procedures

  • Set performance and conformance targets for process goals and metrics
  • Analyze and report performance against targets
  • Supporting the divsional OT teams in the implementation of corrective actions​​​​​​​

Additional Information

Strategy

  • Understand the strategic direction of Magna Corporate, Magna Seating EU, and its divisions
  • Assess current OT environment, capabilities and performance
  • Define the strategic plan and road map and communicate the OT strategy and direction to the divisions and management

Business Continuity

  • Ensure divisions follow Magna's business continuity policy
  • Support the divisional OT departments to test and improve the BCP at the divisonal level
  • Conduct BCP training

Changes

  • Lead projects related to the design, implementation and upgrades of OT systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget and Quality standards, especially during launch projects / new programs
  • Evaluate, prioritize and authorize change requests at the regional level
  • Review and approval of Regional Group and Divisions capital expenditures

Risk & Safety

  • Create OT risk management plan including risk monitoring and reporting
  • Support the divisions to evaluate their RTO (Recovery Time Objectives) and RPO (Recovery Point Objectives) in a standardized way
  • Supporting and monitoring of divisional OT asset management, data & configuration backup, data retention policies and disaster recovery plans for all OT systems
  • Supporting the divisional OT teams to achieve safe working conditions and following all internal and external Safety Rules in liason with EHS department
  • Supporting the divisional OT teams to ensure compliance to the correct and safe way to operate their equipment, follows all work instructions and complies with Company standards on the use of personal protective equipment

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • University degree or College diploma in a related technical field
  • Five to seven years work experience in automotive, preferably manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of both including a minimum of three years of supervisory responsibility
  • Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives
  • Knowledge of the organization's core business processes and operations, along with the strategic use of technology to grow a business
  • Program management sklills, including planning and controlling processes
  • Expert knowledge of industrial control hardware, software and network operations and capabilities
  • Experience to work with shop floor / OT systems
  • Must be able to work in a fully computerized work environment and be committed to continuous improvement principles
  • Basic knowledge of Siemens PLC (S7, Tia Portal, etc.) as well as other common programming languages (Allen Bradley, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Industry 4.0 infrastructure and data connectivity (MQTT, etc.)
  • Knowledge how to improve OT Security
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art OT equipment (bus systems, sensor technology, etc.)
  • Knowledge of EU machinery directive and associated safety devices (hardware and software)
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office Tools and OT systems
  • Fluent in English
